I am a straight...What an awesome guy you are Mitch. I am a straight mom of seven (and a new-ish foster daughter) and I know a little bit about mother love. I love my mom too, and I think that the mother-child bond is just one of the coolest inventions ever.
I am certain your mom is watching you and smiling and sending you every blessing she has the power to help send.
You will see her later, and what a joyful reunion that will be. Thank-you for sharing such a touching and personal story. i am grateful to be your sister from heaven, and though we will likely never meet in this life-I look forward to seeing you in heaven. You are trying to do much good here on earth. I want to hear even more about it when we all tell out stories "up there" one day. Your mother ...I enjoyed this moving tribute, Mitch. Your mother sounds like a wonderful person. And she was blessed to have a kind, gay son. Having a gay son has made me a better person.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05238214195837442916noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5835564038959249094.post-48430546883467052112013-02-05T19:33:53.274-08:002013-02-05T19:33:53.274-08:00This was a beautiful tribute to an obviously wonde...This was a beautiful tribute to an obviously wonderful mother. You have a wonderful way with words. Although, part of me wonders why you signed it "your gay son" Yes, being gay is part of who you are, but you are so much more. I think being a disciple of Christ, being an empathic man, a devoted son, etc. is so much more important--and more important to focus on. Just my thoughts. Still, thank you for sharing the letter. We never outgrow our need for our mothers, do we? I am certain you miss yours. God bless.ionamin-W8FW8https://www.blogger.com/profile/06596975411397863125noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5835564038959249094.post-33500475831548966672013-02-04T19:07:07.077-08:002013-02-04T19:07:07.077-08:00Beautiful - I'm crying.Beautiful - I'm crying.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17848197238675003339noreply@blogger.com
